“The cartilage doc” – preserving joints instead of replacing them
Return to Sport
Around three million sports accidents occur every year. In order for the athlete to fully recover, it is necessary for the injured tissue to heal structurally on the one hand and for mobility, stability and neuromuscular control to be functionally restored on the other. The psychological readiness of the athlete should also be taken into account. Screening enables coaches, therapists and doctors to easily and effectively check which sporting activities the athlete is ready for again.
I have written the first German-language specialist book on the subject of Return to Sport and, together with the ARTZT Academy, offer a two-day master course for trainers, therapists and doctors.
This course is also available online!
