Radiofrequency therapy – sclerotherapy of the pain-conducting nerve fibers
For severe osteoarthritis of the vertebral joints in the back or the knee/shoulder joint, radiofrequency therapy – the obliteration of the pain-conducting nerve fibers – offers an outpatient and non-surgical pain therapy. If a joint is functioning well, chronic pain can be effectively reduced or even stopped in this way. If the focus is on mechanical restrictions or instability, surgical therapy should be considered.
