Running is one of our most natural forms of movement.

If there were no serious limitations as part of childhood development, we all learned it. However, if we don’t do any sport or have a walking/standing job, we spend most of our lives sitting or lying down these days. For many people, walking is not a relevant part of their daily routine. A common guideline is 10,000 steps a day as a minimum.

So not everyone today is automatically fit enough to simply start running training – trying to do so regularly results in common overuse syndromes. The good news is that it doesn’t take much for most people to get into a fun and healthy running routine in a short space of time!
