A pulling sensation in the knee after jogging, a stabbing pain when climbing stairs – osteoarthritis often begins quietly, almost imperceptibly. But what seems harmless can gradually develop into one of the most widespread widespread diseases of our time.
More than eight million people in Germany are affected – and the number is growing. Younger people are also increasingly affected. The diagnosis often marks the beginning of a lengthy path of suffering that often ends in an artificial joint replacement.
